When e-learning meant ‘not having to cook dinner’!
Sometimes we voice overs do get out and about at other studios, and this one was no exception. Recorded at Kite Studios , this work was for an educational game, involving 50% standard received pronunciation British accent, the other 50% in standard general American accent, with a couple of children’s voices thrown in! Nothing like a bit of variety!
The smiley photo indicates a whole lotta words completed in 2 hours flat, at slow-paced vocal speed, as this project was to teach English as a second language.
And then, once recorded, it’s back home leaving our audio engineer, Roger, to do the editing, for once.
Normally, having my own studio means that, as I offer the additional service of editing my own voice overs to send directly to my client, or the production house, I record and edit the whole process.
But, on this occasion, it was a bit like not having to cook your own dinner!

Hi Charles
Many thanks for your kind words. Not sure what happened on your site navigation but, having tested it out again, it appears to be working. Let me know if you get any more problems. :>)
V. interesting site and blog. The link to your demos just bring me straight back to this page. I’m using an iPad if that matters.
