Recently, I launched my latest Corporate Narration demo. Great I thought, that’s that done. Then a couple of days ago, one of my voice over clients asked if I had anything that was just straight, informative, instructional, rather than selling or promoting. It made me think, as at the moment I’ve been mixing them into the same demo.
I thanked my client for that wonderful insight into what my clients actually want! They’re absolutely right – clients are usually looking for something specific, and if you make something more generic, it’s more challenging for them and their own clients to hear what they need to hear.
The work that I do does tend to cover quite a broad range within the Corporate narration arena – from straight, informative reads, to explainer and instructional / how-t0 videos – right through to what I now term ‘long promos’. They’re promotional in nature, and have a subtle sell to them.
So, with that in mind, I’ve now produced two Corporate demos – one Straight, Informative, Instructional – and one Promotional. In other words, Selling, and Telling! Here they are:
