Lindsay first began providing voice overs about 15 years ago for educational media and corporates, which involved not utilizing her natural warm RP voice, but her trained actor background also enabled her to provide a whole host of characters, ages and accents, both UK regional and foreign accents. This proved a great training ground for developing her now renowned versatility in the voice over industry.
Lindsay has subsequently gone on to provide voice overs for clients worldwide, including radio (local radio) and television commercials (most recently aired on Sky), corporate and documentary narration, to on-hold messages, sat nav voices, and fully character dialogued audio books, as well as continuing to be a regular on educational media projects!
Background: Having graduated from the University of Birmingham with an honours degree in Drama & Theatre Arts (including Music) where her final dissertation focused on the development of the spoken voice in theatrical performance. Postgraduate training as an actor/singer followed at the prestigious Guildford School of Acting and both an acting and singing career ensued.
